It’s going to be an exciting night of fun and entertainment at the Harrogate Candlelighters Autumn Ball of 16 October at the Pavilion at Harewood House. With the aid of the Linkedin group, the Yorkshire Mafia headed by Geoff Shepherd, Harrogate anticipates a sellout event.

Charity golf day set to be a ball at Pannal
Local man, Keith Spencer is organising a charity golf day at Pannal Golf Club to raise money for Harrogate District Hospital’s Macmillan Dales Cancer Unit and to raise awareness of bowel cancer. The event starts at 1.30pm on Wednesday the 8th September and will comprise 4-ball teams (men or women) with a shotgun start. This will be followed by a gala dinner and charity auction.

Sant’ Angelo restaurant, which opened its doors on Monday 26th August raising money for Martin House Children’s Hospice, is set to be Wetherby’s newest culinary hotspot.
The owners, Franco and Catherine Del Buono are returning to the same spot where their former restaurant, La Laconda was situated 20 years ago, a small 50 seater in the Horsefair centre. However, Sant’ Angelo is a slight upgrade, with a capacity of 150, as well as an adjoining wine bar that would seat another 100.
