Tuesdays are now given over to keyboardist and vocalist David Bailey, playing 6 till 10pm. Pianist Simon Parkinson plays every Wednesday and Thursday, accompanied by guest musicians. Fridays and Sundays see more live acts from around the area play the venue: Chris White (5th), Aspects of Jazz (7th), Tina Featherstone (12th), Sandra Pehrsson (14th), Frank Brooker (19th), Bob Mason (26th) and Les San Noms on the 28th.
Simon Parkinson and singer Nicki Allen get together for jazz, blues and soul every third Sunday of the month - this month on the 21st.

There's live music at Albert's every Thursday from 9pm with different local bands and vocalists playing each week, including Tom Weldon, Nick Clarke, Paul Watson, Ade Payne, Mark Jarvis, Dan Burnett and others. Alan Leach from Shed Seven hosts a weekly 'fingers on your buzzers' speed quiz too, kicking off at 8pm every Tuesday.

The Harrogate International Sunday Series continues on the 7th March at 11am with world famous clarinettist Michael Collins (tickets £15/£13.50), followed by the talented Aquarelle Guitar Quartet on Sunday 21st March at 11am (£9.45-£15).

The Theatre's intimate Studio plays host to exceptionally talented acoustic guitarist Preston Reed on the 18th March at 7.30pm (£12/£10 concs), before [i]Kala Kahani: Artistic Tales[/i] (www.kalasangam.org/) with an evening of storytelling and south Asian music and dance on the 20th March at 7.45pm.

Harrogate Theatre and the hotel host the annual St Patricks Day Fundraising Ceilidh on the 17th March. Ceilidh band 'Cobblers Wax' will provide the entertainment and teach guests dances to raise funds for the Harrogate Theatre Restoration Fund. Sheffield-born singer, songwriter and former frontman of Ace, Squeeze and Mike & The Mechanics Paul Carrack appears at the HIC on the 4th March at 8pm (tickets £27.08), Chris Rea plays the 19th March at 7.30pm (£29.50) and Jimmy Carr will raise a laugh on the 20th March at 7.30pm (£22.50).

Local rockers d'nile play the Hall on the 19th March at 7.30pm (tickets £12.50). Moscow Ballet La Classique totters in with [i]Swan Lake[/i]on the 8th March, too.

Bottom of the Bottle continues at its new venue on Sundays the 7th and 28th March. The first date sees Kasiuss headline, with support from Drowned in Flames and Massive Taxi. The 28th marks the rock night's PREaster Party with Under Arches supported by 'Live & Unsigned' finalists Pseudonympho and guests.
On both nights entry into the venue's front bar is free with a set from DJ Sixus; doors to the main room are at 9pm (£3) and DJ Trev continues the party with rock, metal and punk till 3am.
