Chances are this will be the first, and hopefully last, time you'll plan your wedding. With so much to organise and no prior experience, the whole business can seem like an impossible task. If you could conjure up a fairy godmother who could help you out, marrying your prince charming/ fairytale princess (delete as applicable!) would be so much easier, right? Last year we enjoyed our fifth Plush Awards ceremony - and our second at the same venue - at Pavilions of Harrogate. The talented team ensured everything was how we wanted it and well nigh eliminated the usual stress of getting together a couple hundred of our favourite people into a room and showing them a good time. So we can vouch for Pavilions of Harrogate's credentials. Set in the pretty surroundings of the Great Yorkshire Showground on Wetherby Road, the venue boasts 14 function rooms with multiple wedding ceremony and reception opportunities. If your family makes the Von Trapp's look compact, the Wharfe Room should turn your head; some 56 metres long with enough room to accommodate 540 for a sit-down meal. For more intimate soirees there's the Swale Room, complete with balcony overlooking the gorgeous Crimple Valley. Pavilions boasts their own catering service to the highest standards, using local products where possible and working closely with couples to ensure the finest wedding breakfasts and evening buffets. An experienced duty manager will ensure the day runs smoothly and act as toast master for your reception. The award-winning venue's adjacent lawns and pretty colonnades make a great backdrop for your wedding photos and reception drinks, and there's ample free parking right outside the venue.
